Community Health Systems Registered Nurse - Neuro-Tele Unit - 60% Nights in Lancaster Region, South Carolina


The registered nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervising, and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and nursing policies.



--{PS..0}1. --{PS..1}Current CPR certification orsuccessful completion of Basic Life Support within one week of hire.

--{PS..2}2. --{PS..3}Successful completion of thehospital administered medication examination with a score of 90 or greater.

--{PS..4}3. --{PS..5}Graduate of an accreditedSchool of Professional Nursing.

--{PS..6}4. --{PS..7}Annualreorientation/competency completion.

--{PS..8}5. --{PS..9}Completion of basicarrhythmia class within three months of hire.


--{PS..10}1. --{PS..11}Desirable characteristics include at least two years of experience in ahospital or medically related environment.

--{PS..12}2. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide careappropriate to the age of patients served.

Must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development overthe life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of thepatient s status and interpret appropriate information needed to identify eachpatient s requirement relative to thepatient s needs and to provide care needed as described to in policy and procedure.


  1. Current RN licenses to practice in SC.

  2. Current CPR certification or successful completion of Basic Life Supportwithin one week of hire.

  3. Must obtain ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.

  4. Current certification on NIH stroke scale
