Community Health Systems Clinical Nurse Educator in SAHUARITA, Arizona

Description

This is a full time Clinical Nurse Educator position with Northwest Healthcare.

Responsible for the coordination and delivery of in-service training and educational sessions related to ensuring clinical competence and related to improving the culture of safety based on the organization's culture of safety survey results.

Designs and conducts educational programs for nursing staff. Coordinates orientation programs for new staff members, develops programs to keep existing staff up-to-date, and acts as general resource for nursing personnel.

Education

Required: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of employment in the role.

Experience

Required: Five (5) years of experience in area of expertise.

Preferred: Previous experience as an educator

Licenses/Certifications

Required: Current Arizona RN licensure or compact state license; American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS & ACLS
