Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, Pinellas County s Level II Trauma Center, seeks a dynamic Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our 16 bed Trauma ICU team!

  • Average Census: 13

  • Nurse to Patient Ratio: 2:1

  • Case Types: Multiple traumas, multi-system failures (MSOF), Sepsis, Complicated Surgeries

  • Technology/Equipment includes: GE monitors including EKG, Hemodynamic and Intracranial Pressure (ICP monitoring; Lumbar Drains, Vents, Ventriculostomy, BIS and Train of Four




  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, ASN

  • BSN preferred


  • Current Florida State Registered Nurse license required

  • CCRN & Completion of Critical Care Course preferred

  • BLS / ACLS through American Heart Association required

Preferred Background:

  • Familiarity with trauma, closed head injuries, ventilatory management, hemodynamic monitoring, ICP, and Venticulostomy.

  • Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years exp. in critical care.
