Community Health Systems Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care - PRN in TUCSON, Arizona

Description

This Nurse Practitioner position is full-time -Two (2) years required; Emergency Room/Urgent Care experience.

Required: Active Arizona Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner, or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner licensure. Prescribing privileges - documentation from the Arizona State Board of Nursing and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license/certificate.

American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certification.

Preferred: American Heart Association (AHA) PALS certification.

Examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals. Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a master's degree in area of specialty, certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), and state authority for advanced practice. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
