Community Health Systems Pharmacy Tech Specialist in TUCSON, Arizona

Description

This is a Full time day shift position working in the Pharmacy department.

Position Purpose

Under the supervision and direction of a Pharmacist, provides pharmacy assistance for pharmaceutical care to patients according to professional standards and practices.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: "Required: Pharmacy Technician program training -OR-

Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Intern License"

Experience: "Required: Two years of pharmacy technician experience required or enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy."

Skills: Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred. Computer literacy, excellent organization and prioritization skills, personable, resourceful, problem-solving abilities, initiative and motivation, high level of written and communication skills, and must be able to work independently under set guidelines.

Licenses/Certifications: "Required: Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Technician license within 60 days of hire date or Pharmacy Intern License.

American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS Certification.

Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card"
