Community Health Systems Physical Therapist-FT w Weekend Rotation in VICKSBURG, Mississippi

Description

As a Physical Therapist, at Merit Health River Region, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best-providing quality care to our patients!

Duties Include:

  • Evaluates patients and develops patient-specific physical therapy treatment program.

  • Monitors, reassesses and modifies treatment program to meet patient needs in an ongoing manner.

  • Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (physical therapist assistants, rehab aides, students, etc.).

  • Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare staff.

  • Performs treatments demonstrating awareness of growth and development for each population group.

  • Applies knowledge of population specific needs when assessing/caring for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients according to psycho-social and developmental needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.

  • 1 year of experience with Pediatric and Adults preferred.

  • Current Physical Therapist MS state license.

  • BLS certification required.
