Community Health Systems RN Manager-Emergency Department-FT-Day Shifts in VICKSBURG, Mississippi
The Emergency Services Manager provides overall support of the management and strategic leadership of the Emergency Services Department and affiliated service lines. Reporting to the Director, the Emergency Services Manager is responsible for the management of the unit's clinical nursing program, including patient safety, compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards associated with the Emergency Services Department, budgetary and fiscal performance of the Emergency Services Department, leadership of the Emergency Services team members, resource development and implementation of process changes and establishment, measurement, reporting and audit of Emergency Services' Performance Metrics.
Graduate of a nursing program. Bachelor's Degree in nursing or healthcare administration is preferred. Current Mississippi RN licensure is required. Three (3) years of emergency and/or critical care experience is strongly preferred. Progressive unit management experience is preferred. BLS, ACLS, PALS and CPI certification are required. TNCC certification is required or within one (1) year of hire into the department.
